A taste of research in the tropics was among the themes of the annual Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service Research and Innovation Symposium, recently.
It was our honour to once again sponsor this important event which included delicious catering by FNQ Foundation Feast .
More than 150 people joined the annual Research and Innovation Symposium on Friday both online and in person. Thank you to all the presenters for a fascinating day of showcasing current research and quality improvement activities in practice across North Queensland.
Our CEO Gina Hogan presented sponsored awards to Nicola Franks for the Best presentation by an emerging researcher, and Vanessa Sparke, for People’s Choice Podium presentation.
Investing in local research is one of our key pillars, as we know that research is vital to developing new treatments for local people.
