As Executive Manager – Philanthropy at Mater Foundation Brisbane, Lesley feels incredibly privileged to work with generous individuals and families who want to make a difference to health care, research, and education through their philanthropy. She believes that when giving is personal and purposeful, it can transform both lives and communities.

A lifelong advocate for philanthropy, Lesley holds a Master of Business (Research) from QUT, where she explored the rise of giving circles globally and she’s a proud founding member of “Women & Change,” a women’s giving circle that empowers women in philanthropy.

Over the years, Lesley has served on several nonprofit boards, including Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) and CFRE International, and in 2015 was honoured with FIA’s Arthur Venn Award for her contribution to the fundraising profession. When she’s not working, you’ll find Lesley enjoying life with heart and purpose either in Brisbane or her home in Yungaburra.
