The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation dedicated to supporting the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, as well as the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service. The Foundation's reach extends from Tully to the Torres Strait. Through its commercial activities, all administrative costs are covered, ensuring that every dollar donated goes directly to where it is intended. Since the Foundation’s inception, more than $26 million has been contributed to improving health care in the Far North.

Working together with our community and health services to improve care in Far North Queensland.

About the Role
Expressions of interest are being sought for a non-executive voluntary board member position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NFP sector and the skills to innovate and help grow the organisation.
The Board meets eight times a year and has three sub-committees that provide oversight of high-risk areas within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Include:
•    Strategic Planning
•    Governance & Stewardship
•    Compliance & Risk Management
