It’s all about the babies

5 Oct 2023

THANK you to everyone who supported the Cairns Pregnancy and Baby Expo, held at DFO Cairns this year.
Community support helped organiser Ann Grainger donated $4434 to the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, which will support the Cairns Special Care Baby Unit.
A big thank you to all the families who came along and helped to also support our local small businesses. We hope you found someone or something perfectly suited to you or your family.
Two beautiful rockers were donated by the Cairns Men’s Shed and Peter Littler as lucky door prizes.
The eighth annual Cairns Pregnancy and Baby Expo was a one-stop-shop with more than 40 stalls booked.
Stall sites showcased cots and prams, midwives, photographers, a sleep consultant, pram liners, maternity clothing, yoga and handmade items.
Major raffle prizes include a reef trip to Fitzroy Island, Kuranda Birdworld and Koala Gardens and Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.
Many other raffle prizes were available on the day including baskets from goodies from all attending stall-holders, as well as a pram and change table.
•    The Cairns Pregnancy and Baby Expo was at DFO Cairns (opposite Rivers).
