Nu Nu’s new record

24 Nov 2020

What a simply INCREDIBLE day at Nu Nu Restaurant on November 3, for their annual Melbourne Cup function.
Thank you to everyone for helping us raise $31,000 on the day. This was an incredible achievement, given the reduced numbers due to COVID-19.
Thank you Nu Nu management and staff, donors and participants.
Bookings for this year’s event at the popular Palm Cove location sold out within 10 minutes of it being launched onto the Nu Nu Restaurant website.
Due to COVID-19, the horse race on the beach wasn't able to be held, but thousands of dollars were raised by eager bidders "buying" hobby horses for a human race adjacent to the beach.
In the 16 years the event has been held, $210,000 has now been raised for the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.
